Driving Directions from Interstate
Westbound I-90: Exit 298 at Belgrade. Turn left off exit ramp, go 9 miles south on Jackrabbit Lane/85. Bozeman Campground is on right-hand side of the road.
Eastbound I-90: Exit 298 at Belgrade. Turn left at first traffic light then right at traffic light (Jackrabbit Lane/85). Bozeman Campground is about 9 miles south on right-hand side.

Bozeman Hot Springs
Enjoy a therapeutic swim at the Bozeman Hot Springs which is located right next door to the campground. The relaxing pools may be just what you need after a long day of driving. Please note the Hot Springs are closed from sundown Friday evening to sundown Saturday evening. Click for more info.
Horseback riding/White Water Rafting
There are several horseback riding and white water rafting outfitters located in the area. Several companies have joined together to provide a saddle/paddle package so you can enjoy the best of both adventures.
Museum of the Rockies
The Museum of the Rockies is home to the Taylor Planetarium, which offers live narrated tours of the night sky, and the Siebel Dinosaur Complex. The dinosaur exhibit is based on the research of Dr. Jack Horner, paleontologist and advisor to the Jurassic Park films. Visitors here can see the world’s largest T-rex skull.
Virginia City & Nevada City
Relive the past when you visit these two ghost towns. The entire town of Nevada City has been restored to an open air museum capturing the flavor of an early day mining camp. Virginia City has the graves of outlaws hung by the vigilantes of the community. As the movie A River Runs Through It depicted, we are home to some of the best fly fishing in the world. The Gallatin River is just 5 minutes away and the Madison River only 20 minutes away. Fly fishing guide service info.
Enjoy hiking at beautiful Hyalite Canyon. It boasts four beautiful waterfalls with a 20 to 30 minute hike to each. For the more adventurous trailblazer you can hike the M, located at the mouth of Bridger Canyon, on Baldy Mountain. Indoor Rock Climbing
The Spire Climbing Center is Bozeman’s premiere climbing facility. It provides over 8000 square feet of roped climbing and bouldering. Spire Climbing Center website.
This arch commemorates Gardiner as the gateway to Yellowstone National Park. It has marked the North entrance road since Teddy Roosevelt dedicated it in 1903.
Lewis & Clark Caverns
Named by Theodore Roosevelt, the caverns offer a unique look at natures underground beauty. Located about an hour from Bozeman, the park offers guided tours May 1 through September 30.
Some of the best shopping (and eating) can be found in the unique shops located in the quaint and historic downtown Bozeman. You can also shop over 65 stores in the Gallatin Valley Mall. Alpacas of Montana is a Bozeman, Montana alpaca farm located just minutes from the campground. They offer alpacas for sale as well as alpaca products such as socks, hats, scarves, sweaters, etc. Alpacas of Montana have over 120 alpacas on their farm and all of their products are handcrafted in Bozeman.
